Tesfom holds both the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) and the Diploma in Police Interpreting (DPI). He has worked as a freelance interpreter and translator since May 2008 and as a DPSI Language Specialist since August 2017.
With degrees in History, Community and Youth Studies, and an M.A. in Social Work, plus years of teaching and mentoring, he supports, guides and assesses other linguists within the profession.
