Flourishing Language Solution Ltd is a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales. We are committed to delivering high-quality interpreting and translation services, with a particular focus on supporting Tigrinya- and Amharic-speaking service users who require language assistance to fully access the services available to them.
Mr Tesfom Gebrehiwet
Mr Tesfom is a PhD candidate, Chartered Linguist, and highly experienced language specialist who holds both the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) and the Diploma in Police Interpreting (DPI). He is a CIOL and NRPSI registered and regulated linguist with an extensive track record in interpreting and translation. He has been working as a Freelance Interpreter and Translator since May 2008, and as a DPSI Language Specialist since August 2017.
His strong academic foundation—including a B.A. in History (Eritrea), a B.A. (Hons) in Community and Youth Studies, and an M.A. in Social Work (UK)—combined with experience in teaching, mentoring, and training, has enabled him to develop the skills required to support, guide, and assess other linguists within the profession.

Over the course of his career, Mr Tesfom has delivered interpreting across a wide range of statutory, legal, medical, and community settings. His professional experience includes work with:

- NHS hospitals and mental health settings
- Asylum Screening Units, Substantive Interviews, and detention centres
- Schools, social services, and local authorities
- Social security departments
- Children’s services, including CAFCASS
- Medical assessment centres
- Local law firms and legal practices
- DPSI tutoring and linguistic training roles
His work spans sensitive, complex, and high-risk environments, including safeguarding cases (such as Section 47 enquiries), Looked After Children (LAC) reviews, Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings, and a variety of health, legal, and immigration contexts.
